Yelling into the darkness
Hoping for someone to hear
Cries, the sound of feet
Running, Crying, Calling out
No one can hear you yet you scream and shout
No one is there, but the fear alone to scare
Life of the hopeful shattered and frayed, broken from hate
Running From yourself
Running from the inside out
But no one can run from this devastating fate
Finding a brick wall only to hold you in your place
"Stand up" you hear "Stand up and fight"
Scream out to the world
There is no more need to hide
Were all corrupted on the inside
The darkness still lies there, hidden, deep inside
Haunting everyone, everything that just passes by
Don't hold back, conquer the fear inside
Only the light alone can truly survive
